Motiva Groove runs on the smallest number of cookies the Platform can operate with. This page lists exactly which cookies exist, rather than describing categories in general terms.

Browsing the public website — the home page, pricing, the mastering tool, and these legal pages — sets no cookies at all.

The One Cookie We Set

• vs_id — created only when you begin identity verification. It stores a reference to your Stripe verification session so the Platform can match you to the correct session when you return. It is HTTP-only (not readable by scripts), sent only over HTTPS, and expires after one hour.

This cookie is strictly necessary to provide a service you have asked for. It carries no profile, no browsing history, and no advertising identifier.

What We Do Not Use

• No advertising or tracking cookies. We run no ad network tags, no social media pixels, and no cross-site profiling.
• No analytics cookies. We measure page views with Vercel Web Analytics, which records traffic without setting cookies and without a cross-site identifier.
• No preference cookies. The accent colour and the light/dark theme you pick with the selector in the corner are remembered in your browser's local storage under mg-accent and mg-mode — not in cookies. They never leave your device, are never sent to us, and hold nothing but the name of a colour and the word light or dark. Clearing your site data resets both to the default.
• No login cookies. The public website has no sign-in, so there is no session cookie to set.

Consent

Because the only cookie we set is strictly necessary to deliver a service you requested, UK and EU rules do not require a consent banner for it — which is why you will not see one here. If we ever add analytics, advertising, or any other non-essential cookie, we will ask for your consent first and update this page before doing so.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser at any time. Blocking vs_id will prevent identity verification from completing, which is required before your first release.
